Highway 58 Volunteer Fire Department responded to an automatic fire alarm that quickly upgraded to a fully involved structure fire at 01:28 on 03/27/2026.  The Officers thank all the members and Mutual Aid agencies that responded.  Dallas Bay Fire Department provided standby coverage at Station 1.  Chattanooga Fire Department responded with an engine and tanker to the scene.  East Ridge Fire Department responded with an engine to the scene.  Bradley County Fire Department responded with a tanker and manpower to the scene.  TriCommunity Fire Department responded with an engine and tanker to the scene.  Tri-State Mutual Aid’s Michael Williams coordinated the mutual aid response.  Hamilton County Sheriff officers and Hamilton County EMS unit Medic 15 responded to support the firefighters.  Although the home and contents are a total loss, the occupants evacuated without injury.  High winds hindered the fire attack causing spot fires in multiple locations and endangered neighboring structures on Wolftever Dr.
