Highway 58 Volunteer Fire Department is not fully funded by Hamilton County. An annual allotment is provided by the county as part of their operating budget. Highway 58 Volunteer Fire Department relies on a subscription plan to cover the annual shortfall in operating expenses. Annual subscriptions cost $150.00 cash/check. $155.00 online using paypal or credit card.

Residents and property owners who choose not to subscribe are billed for fire department services provided based on a FEMA billing schedule. Subscribers are not personally billed for the fire department services provided.

Highway 58 Volunteer Fire Department supports every citizen and property owner of its district regardless of subscription status.
